Rise 1969 aka William Mahfoud is a UK-born, Lebanese based musician, producer and engineer who has been closely associated with Berlin's Blackhead Studios and Moodmusic in the past years. Spending a 6 months scholarship in the Berlin based studio, the groundwork for his debut album Floating Memory was laid. The concept was to collaborate with local talent, friends and likeminded musicians and melt the experience in Berlin to his UK-roots as well as the vivid art-scene in Beirut.

Some of the artist he collaborated with are known from the Moodmusic roster like Tim Sean-Lee, Freestyle Man and his earlier singles (Magnetic Beast / Falling Angel) have already showed a glimpse of the project. Now we present you the full length Floating Memory project with further collaborations with Anna Schreit, Phyllis Josephine, Scarlett Shaad and s.soo.
